Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI is seeking a Restoration Technician to perform restoration duties across Chicago, IL and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include driving to sites, executing work to meet safety and quality standards, and gaining proficiency in fire, water restoration and mold abatement.

The role offers paid training, overtime opportunities, and a starting wage of $20–$23 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with health, dental, vision, and 401K benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is required.
• Detail oriented and meticulous work.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Able to move and/or lift 70+ lbs.
• Must pass drug and background check.
• Previous restoration experience is a plus.
• Proficient with handheld smart devices and Android OS.
• Aptitude for learning new technology and software.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
• Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable regulations and quality standards while providing world-class customer service.
• Become proficient in fire and water restoration, as well as mold abatement.
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards.
