Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Field Research Manager to lead a dispersed team in Chicago, IL. You will oversee data collection on tenants, listings and building characteristics, driving both production and quality while coaching staff.

The role requires 25% monthly travel and a strong background in operations management, data analysis, and KPI achievement to support CoStar products with accurate market insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 3-5 years’ direct operations management of 5+ employees.
• Leadership and KPI-driven management experience.
• Strong communication and data interpretation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and coach a growing team of field researchers.
• Review production against KPI metrics and provide feedback.
• Ensure data quality and adherence to standards and guidelines.
• Create development plans to grow team members.
• Coordinate with Tenant and Market Research teams and partners.
• Travel monthly to assigned markets and align schedules with field staff.
