Job summary

Eurofins Agroscience Services in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Field Research Agronomist to join our team. The role blends laboratory work with field studies focusing on ecotoxicology and environmental safety in agro-science projects. You will support residue, yield, efficacy, and pollinator trials under GLP guidelines in a fast-paced field setting.

The candidate will work with row crops, learn advanced data collection methods, and travel locally as needed. A B.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with growing cycles of crops like corn, soybeans, and wheat.
• Experience in Pollination Studies and fieldwork.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, learn new techniques, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Participate and monitor studies placed within organization.
• Maintain study data and facility records in an organized manner.
• Properly handle and apply pesticides.
• Grow and maintain crops used in studies.
• Ensure accurate data collection and timely reporting to Sponsors.
• Use sponsor e-notebooks and data collection hardware/software.
• Participate in GLP training.
• Utilize study management database as required.
• Supervise temporary field/lab staff as assigned.
• Some domestic travel may be required.
