Job summary

Rite Rug is seeking a motivated Field Representative to join our team in Durham, NC. This role focuses on inspecting homes and projects before, during, and after installations, ensuring readiness and quality, and coordinating materials for installations.

The position involves driving between job sites, daily communication with customers and project managers, and prioritizing tasks to maintain schedule and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flooring installation experience is a plus; construction experience is helpful.
• Commitment to safety in all work practices.
• Ability to work independently and problem solve.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize duties.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance; reliable vehicle.
• Must pass drug test and be subject to random testing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basis.
• Drive from jobsite to jobsite – planning and prioritizing each day.
• Schedule work to be done in an efficient manner.
• Determine best method of installations and repairs.
• Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Respond to any complaints or questions regarding installations.
• Pickup and deliver materials as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary based on experience.POSITION SUMMARY:Our Field Representative’s primary job function takes place outside of the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. They are checking job readiness, checking on the installers doing the work and verifying that everything gets done, and doing the little things to button up whatever is outstanding.
