Job summary

Clayton Homes in Asheville, NC is seeking a diligent Construction Associate to handle minor truss repair requests on home sites and collaborate with site supervisors to deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires 2–3 years in construction, strong math skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, is expected, with opportunities for growth and a supportive benefits package.

  • Must have excellent mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to use a tape measure to 16ths.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

  • Able to communicate positively and clearly with peers, managers, and internal customers.
  • Knowledge in MS Office software, including Excel

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Respond to requests for minor repair to trusses on home sites.
  • Work with site supervisors to provide excellent customer service

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Travel Requirements:
  • Travel to surrounding customer job sites across Indiana and Ohio.
  • Valid Drivers License with For Hire endorsement.
