Job summary

Clayton Homes, a Berkshire Hathaway company and the nation's leading housing provider, is seeking a dedicated professional to supervise construction schedules and coordinate with trade partners to deliver high-quality projects on time. This role supports a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction throughout the build process.

Ideal candidates will have production-building experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with customers and team

Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in production building preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bi-lingual a plus.
  • Knowledge of common building materials used in residential and commercial construction.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily supervision and execution of construction schedules to deliver projects on schedule.
  • Deliver projects with zero defects at time of completion.
  • Coordinate and manage Trade Partners to meet budgets and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with customers to resolve issues quickly.
  • Conduct inspections and manage punch lists.
  • Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and enforce safety policies.
  • Cross-train with other associates for advancement.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist with the daily supervision and execution of the construction schedules to deliver projects on schedule through adherence to even-flow production.
  • Delivering all projects with zero defects at time of completion
  • Coordinating and managing Trade Partners to deliver high quality projects while meeting budgets
  • Coordinating with customers to ensure issues are quickly resolved
  • Calling and walking required inspections and creating and managing multiple punch lists
  • Maintains a clean jobsite for trade partners, customers and municipalities
  • Enforces company safety policies including associates use of personal protective equipment
  • Cross training with other associates to learn new skills needed for advancement
  • Taking responsibility for the jobsite when other managers are absent
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement; identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
  • Experience in production building preferred
  • Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction
  • Excellent organizational skills required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, bi-lingual a plus
  • Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work
  • Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline
  • Strong work ethic towards accomplishing goals and ability to work in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Windows, Office and general internet)
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
