Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an R&M Technician – Liner Hangers to perform hands-on inspection, repair, and refurbishment of field tools using established manuals and procedures. Responsibilities cover receiving, dismantling, repairing, and testing tools to prepare them for next assignments, with senior staff overseeing teams as needed.

Candidates should have 2–4+ years in Oil & Gas, a High School Diploma, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Preferred experience with Liner Hangers and/or cement heads.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily operations, safety meetings, JHA, and reports issues promptly.
• Maintains equipment, facilities and work area in safe condition.
• Repairs machines and structures using hammers, hoists, cranes, drills, wrenches, and testing devices.
• Inspects parts using calipers, micrometers, or similar tools.
• Follows maintenance processes including unloading, cleaning, testing, painting, and assembly.
• Updates work orders and forms, following procedures per training.
• Uses lifting equipment and forklifts; certified as required.
• Handles incoming shipments and prepares them for dispatch.
• In senior roles, may lead the team and perform root-cause analysis.
• Senior roles may lead workshop and assign schedules; evaluate quality and efficiency.
• Order parts from catalogs per Weatherford guidelines.
• Supports LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement.
