Job summary

Purple Land Management, LLC seeks an experienced Renewable Land Agent to lead land outreach, optioning, and site control acquisition for utility-scale wind and BESS projects across Northwest Minnesota and the Eastern Dakotas. The role requires field presence in Fargo, ND, with daily regional travel and strong relationships with landowners.

You will manage title reviews, encumbrance analysis, and waiver negotiations while coordinating with communities, agricultural stakeholders, and permitting

Qualifications

• Experience as a field landman with a track record in utility-scale wind or solar land acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of real estate and agricultural land dynamics in Midwest states.
• Proficiency in option and lease negotiation, contract structuring, title curative work, and GIS/mapping data review.

Responsibilities

• Landowner outreach, optioning, and negotiating leases/easements.
• Develop site control strategies to assemble contiguous footprints for wind assets.
• Perform title reviews, identify encumbrances, and secure waivers to protect layouts.
• Represent the project in local communities and navigate permitting requirements.
