What you will achieve:

Organogenesis is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM). This position will operate as the subject-matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment issues related to the Organogenesis portfolio of products. The FRM has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of reimbursement models (coding, coverage, and payment), including Medicare A, B, C, and D benefit designs, Medi-gap, physician fee schedule, and the ability to locate applicable coverage policies. Demonstrated advanced billing competencies include CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and EOB interpretation. The role involves negotiating and executing sophisticated site-of-care discussions related to healthcare topics, product access, and reimbursement. This is a remote position reporting to the Field Reimbursement Director, ideally based near a major airport in the Central North U.S. (MO, KS, IA, ND, SD).

How you will achieve it:
  • Educate healthcare providers and staff on coding, coverage, and payment to facilitate patient access to Organogenesis products.
  • Analyze reimbursement issues and serve as a resource for the sales team and management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on patient cases and provider interactions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Payer/Policy, Leadership, and Medical Affairs, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Review provider claim forms for errors and guide corrective actions.
  • Analyze remittance advice for denied claims and assist providers with appeals.
  • Mentor and serve as escalation point for Benefit Verification/Benefit Assurance teams.
  • Conduct business reviews and claims analysis for providers.
  • Educate senior leadership on the benefits of using Organogenesis products for wound treatment.
  • Onboard new customers.
Requirements

What you will need to achieve it:

  • BS/BA degree required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical billing/coding, healthcare sales, hospital revenue cycle, or insurance/payer roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 60-70%; face-to-face interaction preferred.
  • AAPC billing/coding certification is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to building customer relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and consultative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Principled, honest, creative, enthusiastic, independent, curious, coachable, and solution-oriented mindset.
