Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions seeks an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to travel to customer sites in Texas to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, install equipment, and provide professional service while documenting all activities.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, the ability to read wiring diagrams, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Previous experience servicing commercial refrigeration equipment preferred.
EPA 608 certification required or preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
Ability to lift equipment and work in confined or temperature-controlled spaces.
HVAC/R schooling or technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical problems.
Service walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, display cases, ice machines, and related equipment.
Diagnose and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, controls, and refrigeration components.
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Communicate repair recommendations and equipment conditions to customers.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Respond to emergency and after-hours service calls when scheduled.
