Job summary

Smart Care is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment at customer sites across Texas. This role requires strong troubleshooting, safety awareness, and excellent customer service.

Travel to customer locations, perform installations, preventative maintenance, and urgent repairs while keeping detailed service records and communicating equipment conditions clearly.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 certification is preferred or required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience servicing commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical problems.
• Service walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, display cases, ice machines, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Maintain service records and communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Travel to customer sites and respond to emergency service calls.
