Job summary

Grocery Outlet Recruiting & Training is seeking an experienced Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment for aspiring operator trainees (AOTs). You will own sourcing, engagement, assessment, and closing while partnering with leadership to meet placement goals and strengthen the pipeline of Independent Operators.

You’ll guide candidates through a complex evaluation process, manage the candidate journey in Salesforce, and collaborate across teams to forecast pipeline needs and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environment.
• Proven success in managing full-cycle recruiting and closing candidates.
• Strong business acumen and comfort discussing financial readiness, relocation, and ownership opportunities.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM/ATS systems (Salesforce preferred) and recruiting technology.

Responsibilities

• Talent Identification & Outreach: Source and engage qualified candidates through referrals, direct outreach, job boards, and industry networks.
• Candidate Management & Assessment: Manage the candidate journey from initial conversation through training assignment and store placement; facilitate assessments and feedback.
• Recruiting Marketing & Relationship Building: Represent Grocery Outlet at events; travel within the market for candidate meetings and networking; build relationships with candidates and partners.
• Collaboration & Process Improvement: Forecast pipeline needs; share best practices; elevate recruiting standards across the organization.
