Job summary

OctaPulse is hiring an engineer to turn prototype hardware into field-ready, reliable products for harsh environments. You will design for sealing, rugged field hardware, and robust installation kits, while supporting vision systems that operate in wet, cold, and remote farm sites.

You will travel up to 20–25% to farms and processing plants, work on-site in Dallas, TX, and collaborate with machining shops and suppliers to deliver repeatable installs. Equity is offered as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping hardware for outdoor/industrial environments.
• Design for sealing and harsh environments.
• Proficiency with power, cabling, connectors and grounding.
• Ability to write and run qualification tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop field-ready hardware that survives wet, cold sites and remote locations.
• Create reliable hardware and repeatable install kits for multiple sites.
• Help vision hardware see and measure in real-world environments and conditions.
• Collaborate with machining suppliers and on-site installation teams.
