Job summary

JP Cullen offers paid internships with hands-on exposure to field and project management activities. You’ll assist with shop drawings, drawings updates, change orders, RFIs, scheduling, and coordination on active construction projects.

Interns gain practical experience under supervision, learn to work with subcontractors, and develop professional skills in a real-world setting across our Milwaukee, Madison, and Janesville offices.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Field Assignments and Assistant Project Management Assignments with guidance from a Project Manager or on site
• Expedite, review, and coordinate shop drawings and submittals
• Incorporate revisions to contract documents to keep drawings up to date
• Assist in organizing and estimating change order work with subcontractors
• Evaluate problems in the field, document causes, and submit RFIs to the designer
• Update and distribute project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar
