Job summary

FirstEnergy in Warren County is offering a position responsible for supporting Distribution Line Operations Management by pre-inspecting jobs to ensure readiness and minimize safety exposures. The candidate will support planning, staffing, and coordinate with field personnel to execute projects efficiently.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline along with relevant work experience is required. The role demands strong communication and project management skills, along with a commitment to safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline plus 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Current knowledge of National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and National Electric Code (NEC).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with PC software applications including Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support Distribution Line Operations Management by pre inspecting jobs.
• Plan and schedule activities, manage the work queue and staffing.
• Physically visit jobs to determine job readiness.
• Support storm restoration efforts and assist during emergencies.
