Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. in Gettysburg, PA is seeking aLines Planner/Scheduler to manage short-range planning and scheduling activities for overhead/underground line facilities. This full-time, on-site role supports work management, coordinates with crews, and drives productive scheduling.

The position emphasizes safety, effective communication, and use of FEWS, SAP, GIS, CREWS, and PowerOn in daily operations. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field with 0–2 years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline plus 0–1 years related work experience; in lieu of a degree, minimum of 2 years related work experience.
• Experience with planning/scheduling of work, construction and maintenance practices and tools.
• Familiarity with NESC/NEC and safety guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety across all activities.
• Plan and schedule daily/weekly work, manage the work queue, allocate resources and coordinate with crews.
• Develop two‑week and one‑month plans and provide management with a current work plan.
• Track progress, update management on backlog and productivity, and adjust schedules as resources change.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to start and finish jobs on time.
