Job summary

Loram’s North America field operations is hiring a Rail Equipment Maintenance Operator in Lubbock, TX. This field-based role offers hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance with training provided.

You’ll work outdoors, travel the railways, and grow your career in a supportive team environment. No rail experience is required; a strong safety mindset, teamwork and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No rail experience required—training provided.
• Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Loram’s rail maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
• Communicate effectively with the team by radio, in person and in writing.
• Follow FRA, OSHA, and Loram safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in training to continually improve skills and career growth.
