Job summary

Loram’s North America field operations seeks a Rail Equipment Maintenance Operator. This field-based role offers hands-on training in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance, with travel across rail sites and a focus on safety and teamwork.

You’ll work outdoors in varied weather, follow strict safety protocols, and participate in ongoing skill development to advance within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior rail experience needed; company provides training.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Loram’s rail maintenance equipment safely.
• Perform hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
• Communicate effectively via radio, in-person, and written methods.
• Follow FRA, OSHA, and Loram safety protocols at all times.
