Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Construction Quantity Surveyor to support field verification of quantities, validate BOQs, and track variances between bid estimates and actual conditions on projects involving gas turbines, HRSGs, and related systems.

The role requires collaboration with EPC contractors, site teams, engineering, and project stakeholders to ensure accurate quantity impacts, documentation, and cost control across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management).
• Experience in quantity surveying, quantity verification, project controls, or EPC project execution.
• Familiarity with BOQ review, quantity takeoffs, drawings, vendor data, and EFC documents.
• Experience in power generation, heavy industrial, or EPC projects with EPC contractors and site teams.
• Knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, piping, and balance-of-plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify BOQs and measured quantities against project estimates and baselines.
• Validate quantities and installed scope with Mitsubishi Power equipment and EPC work.
• Prepare quantity verification packages and supporting records.
• Assist in quantity adjustment, change documentation, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and site teams to obtain measurements and status.
