Job summary

RNGD is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support project teams by performing inspections, testing, documentation, and field verification to ensure work aligns with project specifications and RNGD quality standards.

The role collaborates with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and the Quality Control Manager to implement the project quality plan, document activities, and drive continuous improvement across field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction field experience.
• Experience in quality control, inspection, or materials testing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections to verify work is installed per drawings, specs, and contract requirements.
• Conduct material verification and testing per project requirements and standards.
• Document inspection results, deficiencies, corrective actions, and follow-up.
• Coordinate third‑party testing agencies and ensure timely reporting of results.
• Maintain quality control records, inspection logs, testing reports, and photos.
