Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Quality Lead to join the Power District project management team. You will report on quality performance, ensure adherence to the Quality Management System, and lead audits, nonconformances, rework, and corrective actions while coordinating with customers, vendors and subcontractors.

The role requires an engineering or science degree (or technical college) plus two years in related construction, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Four years’ engineering or science degree or technical college degree plus two years’ experience in related construction field
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship
• Must clearly communicate the status of quality on a project
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills, ability to research and convey complex information to field personnel
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint and learn other software
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with deadlines

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project teams and engineers/clients
• Examine field conditions and identify problems, implement corrective actions
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective actions
• Maintain knowledge of Quality Management System and promote standardization
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification logs for assigned districts
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports
