Job summary

OSP Inspectors Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Field Quality Control Inspector to conduct daily site inspections at residential job sites, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and client requirements across projects.

The role requires reading drawings, coordinating with project managers and contractors, documenting findings with reports and photos, and traveling between sites full-time as a 1099 subcontractor. Pay is $25–$30 per hour for up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in field inspection, construction, or utility-related work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field inspections at residential job sites to verify quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Inspect trenching, conduit installation, grounding, structural mounting, and equipment placement.
• Ensure contractors adhere to specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Document inspection findings with field notes, reports, and photo documentation.
• Identify deficiencies and communicate corrective actions to the team.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and utility representatives on-site.
