Job Description
- Maintain consistent communication with engineering teams and supervisors, both in the office and remotely.
- Inspect completed construction to ensure compliance with specifications and drawing requirements.
- Conduct field assessments of infrastructure such as poles, wires, and electrical equipment, providing information on constructability, topography, and feasibility.
- Meet with stakeholders before, during, and after projects to discuss constraints, existing infrastructure, and other considerations.
- Use measurement tools like the “IKE” device to capture field measurements for engineering teams.
- Coordinate with NM 811 to locate underground utilities and document conditions with photos and reports.
- Review quality assurance documents for compliance.
- Attend pre-construction meetings as a representative of the client and engineering staff.
- Perform document control audits on field drawings and test records.
- Use client standards to guide quality assurance during construction.
- Meet with customers to discuss projects and relay information to design teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Maintain all required licenses and certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow all policies and standards.
- Assist with project coordination between crews, engineers, and customers.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience in quality roles.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in computer and communication media skills.
- Experience in technical writing.
- Certified Welding Inspector - AWS certification required.
