Job Description

• Maintain consistent communication with engineering teams and supervisors, both in the office and remotely.
• Inspect completed construction to ensure compliance with specifications and drawing requirements.
• Conduct field assessments of infrastructure such as poles, wires, and electrical equipment, providing information on constructability, topography, and feasibility.
• Meet with stakeholders before, during, and after projects to discuss constraints, existing infrastructure, and other considerations.
• Use measurement tools like the “IKE” device to capture field measurements for engineering teams.
• Coordinate with NM 811 to locate underground utilities and document conditions with photos and reports.
• Review quality assurance documents for compliance.
• Attend pre-construction meetings as a representative of the client and engineering staff.
• Perform document control audits on field drawings and test records.
• Use client standards to guide quality assurance during construction.
• Meet with customers to discuss projects and relay information to design teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintain all required licenses and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow all policies and standards.
• Assist with project coordination between crews, engineers, and customers.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience in quality roles.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in computer and communication media skills.
• Experience in technical writing.
• Certified Welding Inspector - AWS certification required.
