Ahtna, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Manager for field deployment on construction projects, including government work. This role oversees the QC program, drives daily inspections, and ensures work meets minimum standards while supporting project teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Construction Management, or related degree.
• Eight or more years of relevant construction experience, with at least seven years as a QC Manager.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Projects).
• Understanding of construction means and methods for government, commercial and institutional buildings, mechanical systems, and site work.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve detailed project/component-level plans.
• Build and maintain submittal register and pre-construction QC plans.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure drawings and submittals meet specifications.
• Chair and document weekly site QC meetings and provide written minutes.
• Provide written daily QC reports and monitor conformance to schedules.
