Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling in Bristol, PA is seeking a Customer Quality Assurance Inspector to perform outdoor quality checks of loads and ensure materials are free of debris in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include inspecting loads, preventing hazardous materials from entering processing, directing site traffic, and maintaining safety standards. High school diploma or GED and reliable transportation required; prior QA preferred. On-the-job training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED-equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Prior experience in Quality Assurance preferred but not required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspection of loads to ensure materials are free from debris such as concrete, dirt, trash, etc.
• Performs quality checks to prevent hazardous materials entering processing, such as lithium batteries, propane tanks or gasoline tanks.
• Determines deductions from loads for unwanted materials.
• Directs all site traffic for all trucks in and out of the facility.
• Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and practices.
• Other job duties as assigned.
