Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks an OSP QC field inspector to verify underground and aerial telecom construction meets project standards. You will document measurements, GPS data, and photos, identify deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions with field leadership.

The role requires reading construction prints, strong attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license. Expect outdoor work in varying conditions and potential overtime based on project needs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of OSP construction or QC experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction prints, route maps, redlines, and basic as-built documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of active and completed OSP construction work.
• Verify conduit, handholes, fiber placement, splicing, restoration, depths, labeling, and related items meet project requirements.
• Capture field photos, measurements, GPS data, and inspection notes for QC and closeout.
• Identify deficiencies and punch-list items; communicate findings to QC Supervisor and field leadership.
• Review daily work areas for workmanship and compliance before turnover; maintain QC records.
• Coordinate with foremen, crews, subcontractors, PMs, and Construction Managers to resolve field quality issues.
