Future, a Primoris Company, is seeking an OSP field inspection professional in the United States for on-site quality control of underground and aerial telecom construction. You will verify workmanship, safety and alignment with project specs, and document findings with photos and measurements.
Responsibilities include capturing GPS data, maintaining QC records, and communicating deficiencies to field leadership while coordinating with foremen and project teams to resolve issues.
Perform field inspections of active and completed OSP construction work, including underground and aerial facilities as assigned. Verify conduit, handholes, fiber placement, splicing, restoration, depths, placement, labeling, and other construction items meet applicable project requirements. Compare completed work against construction prints, customer specifications, approved redlines, and company quality standards. Capture clear field photos, measurements, GPS/location information, and inspection notes needed for QC and project closeout documentation. Identify deficiencies and punch-list items, communicate findings to the QC Supervisor and field leadership, and verify corrective work is completed. Review daily work areas for workmanship, completeness, restoration, and compliance with customer requirements before project turnover. Maintain accurate QC records and submit inspection reports, photos, and supporting documentation in a timely manner. Coordinate professionally with foremen, crews, subcontractors, Project Managers, and Construction Managers to resolve field quality issues.
