Matrix Project Services in Wilmington, CA, USA is seeking a Field QA/QC Inspector to document and report on work performed by Matrix NAC personnel and subcontractors on active jobsites. Located on the jobsite, you will ensure compliance with QMS and PQP, and support safety and quality initiatives.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to read drawings, and willingness to work overtime. AWS CWI certification is mandatory; the salary range is $45–60 per hour, with a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work frequent overtime.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Must possess at least one current/valid Inspection credential with 5+ years of experience: AWS CWI.

Responsibilities

• Abide by safety policies and PQP requirements on site.
• Lead QC representative on assigned projects and support site QA/QC activities.
• Supervise QC/NDE personnel and oversee inspection and testing activities.
• Perform daily inspections and audits of materials and workmanship and report findings.
• Organize and perform QC inspections, audits, and related reporting duties.
• Provide training for Welders and NDE personnel as needed.
• Oversee welder qualification and NDE competency testing and documentation.
• Draft NCRs when directed and suggest corrective actions.
