Job summary

TransCore in Orlando seeks a QA Field Technician to support field testing of tolling and traffic systems prior to lane openings. This 100% field-based role operates on active roadway sites across Florida, with occasional visits to the Orlando office as needed.

The role requires travel throughout Florida, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as testing schedules demand. You will document results and coordinate tests with drivers and field teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Typically 2–5 years of experience in field operations or testing.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured testing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field testing of tolling and traffic systems
• Coordinate and perform vehicle-based test runs with drivers and field teams
• Record, analyze, and document test data and results using Excel and Smartsheet
• Audit roadside toll transactions for accuracy and report defects or issues
