Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Auditor to plan, design, verify locations, and inspect utility infrastructure in a field environment. This entry‑level role involves following routine procedures, reading prints, and heavy travel to job sites across the region.

The ideal candidate will have fiber optic construction or auditing experience, a high‑school diploma, and a clean driving record, with willingness to learn mapping software and perform data entry in QCX.

Qualifications

• Experience in fiber optic construction, auditing, or OSP environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints/redlines.
• Based in or able to travel across Ohio and Michigan to support projects.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willing to learn mapping software applications and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Print verification of field installations against engineering prints and redlines.
• Enter audit data and report progress in the QCX system.
• Conduct field audits of active fiber construction sites for quality and compliance.
• Resolve discrepancies between field work and engineering designs with crews.
• Travel 75–100% for on-site duties.
