Job summary

LUZCO Technologies LLC in Missouri is seeking a Construction Inspector to support transmission line, distribution, and substation projects. You will spend time in the field monitoring contractor work, verify compliance with drawings, and document progress.

The ideal candidate has utility construction experience, can read construction drawings, and is comfortable working independently in active sites. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive construction experience required; utility construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (overnight may be required).

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects.
• Monitor contractor work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
• Conduct field audits to verify construction quality and project progress.
• Identify and document deficiencies, non-conformances, and safety concerns.
• Communicate field observations to project teams and clients.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and project documentation.
• Support constructability reviews and commissioning activities as needed.
