Job summary

LUZCO Technologies LLC is seeking a Construction Inspector to support transmission line, distribution, and substation projects. You’ll spend time in the field monitoring contractor work, verifying conformance with drawings and specs, and documenting progress. The role requires a high school diploma and extensive construction experience.

Journeyman line experience and familiarity with NESC are a plus. Strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Office and field reporting tools

Qualifications

• High school diploma and extensive construction experience required.
• Experience in transmission, distribution, or substation construction preferred.
• Journeyman line experience and knowledge of utility standards are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Monitor contractor work for compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and project documentation.
• Identify deficiencies and safety concerns and communicate with teams.
• Travel up to 50% with overnight stays near project sites.
