Potawatomi Defense Operations, LLC seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Engineering Technician for on-site oversight at NAVFAC Northwest projects in Silverdale, WA. You will observe construction activities, inspect workmanship, review plans, document performance, and assist Government construction management.

Responsibilities include processing RFIs, submittals, daily QA reports, and coordination with engineers, designers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a construction inspector or tradesperson.
• Basic understanding of engineering, architecture, and/or construction trades.
• Experience supporting NAVFAC or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Capital Improvements projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, installation methods, and workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience performing inspections and maintaining official construction records.
• Experience inspecting construction materials and multiple building/system trades.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA requirements, and Federal construction safety standards.
• Knowledge of UFGS/Federal construction requirements.
• Experience with material takeoffs and changed-condition estimating support.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Verify construction complies with contract drawings, specifications, and approved submittals.
• Inspect construction materials, workmanship, equipment, and installed systems.
• Monitor contractor QC and safety programs.
• Identify and document deficient or non-compliant construction.
• Interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Prepare daily inspection and QA reports.
• Maintain project records and construction photo documentation.
• Review RFIs and submittals and provide technical recommendations.
• Monitor surveying, materials testing, and system testing.
• Attend QC meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Review payment requests and verify work completed in the field.
• Review contractor as-builts for completeness and accuracy.
• Support contract modifications, changed-condition estimates, claims, and delay analysis.
• Perform constructability reviews.
• Identify long-lead materials and potential schedule impacts.
• Witness testing and acceptance of construction systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, Construction Managers, engineers, designers, and Government representatives.
• Support punch-list, warranty, acceptance, and project-closeout activities.
