Job summary

Image Sensing Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on QA Product Support & Field Specialist to bridge software stability and outdoor hardware reality. You will lead outdoor installations, perform hardware-in-the-loop testing, and drive test activities for our legacy C++ desktop software.

The role requires B.S. in a technical field, field experience with embedded hardware, and strong organizational skills to track inventory and document tests in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, configuring, and testing embedded hardware devices through labs or projects.
• Comfort working outdoors and handling field maintenance tasks.
• Strong organization and ability to track equipment inventory and test documentation in Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Field Installation & Maintenance: Lead outdoor installation and configuration of hardware under real-world conditions.
• Embedded & Hardware Validation: Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing and validate firmware updates.
• Test Lifecycle Organization: Create and maintain automated test cases and bugs in Azure Test Plans.
• Legacy Software Preservation: Manual regression testing of core legacy C++ desktop software.
• Cross-Functional Technical Support: Bridge field data, hardware failures, and internal development teams.
