Qualifications

• Detail and safety oriented.
• Experience with machine/power tools (drills, saws, lathes).
• Comfort with basic metal fabrication equipment and techniques: cutting, rolling, bending; welding optional.

Responsibilities

• Operate hardware prototype safely for several hours under varying conditions.
• Collect data and support remote analysis by engineers.
• Coordinate biomass supplies for testing and assist in proto improvements.
• Work with remote programmers to update PLC control systems.
• Train incoming interns or co-ops and give demonstrations/tours of the prototype.
• Maintain an electronic lab notebook with observations and data.
• Assist with iterative fabrications on Sonoma farm or via local fabricators.
