Job summary

Koops, Inc. is seeking a motivated Engineering Co-op who will rotate through several disciplines to gain hands-on experience in controls, mechanical design, and AMR integration.

You will participate in design, programming, testing, and field service activities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The program emphasizes real project work, documentation, and mentorship, with a summer 2027 start for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a university with an interest in engineering Co-ops.
• Exposure to controls design, PLC programming and robotics is preferred.
• Experience with SolidWorks and general mechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through 3 disciplines (Controls, Project, Mechanical, Field Service, or AMR Integration) to gain broad engineering exposure.
• Assist in machine design, programming, testing and commissioning activities.
• Support onsite service and customer interaction as part of project delivery.
• Document work and report findings to mentors and team leads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned projects.
