Job summary

OnSight PROS in Durham, NC is seeking Field Reporting Technicians to visit single-family rental homes, photograph property conditions, and document observations for property managers. No prior experience is required; we provide hands-on field training and you can set your schedule 30 to 60 days in advance.

You will work largely in the field, with support from our team, performing light maintenance duties when needed and maintaining clear communication throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Own insured vehicle for work use.
• Ability to transport a 4-ft ladder in your vehicle.
• Comfortable using ladders and basic tools.
• Willingness to drive up to 30 miles from your zip code.
• Strong communication skills are REQUIRED — must be responsive and able to maintain consistent communication with the company throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Visit single-family homes to document property conditions.
• Take detailed photos and provide notes about any issues observed.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service on-site.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling property information.
• Perform light maintenance tasks (ladder use, changing batteries, air filters, door stops).
• Work independently while following company guidelines and procedures.
