Job summary

DBI Consultants in Philadelphia seeks a Project Manager I to lead building-damage assessment projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery and accurate scoping.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, coordinate teams and consultants, and interface with clients to manage expectations while identifying risks and maintaining project documentation. This in-person role requires travel, hands-on leadership, and a rigorous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience within construction, restoration, and/or property insurance related fields.
• Ability to travel and build comradery with a response team. Willingness to travel +/- 25% of the workweek
• Experience working with Xactimate, RS Means, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera and MS Projects preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed budgets, estimates, and proposals across lump sum, unit rate, and cost-plus formats.
• Manage project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation to meet delivery commitments.
• Organize project teams and maintain effective relationships with staff, consultants, and clients.
• Identify risk exposures and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
• Enforce department standards for deliverables, budget tracking, and project documentation.
• Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented.
• Perform all other duties as assigned
