Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Field Project Manager to support data center projects throughout the San Antonio area. This hybrid opportunity combines office, remote, and onsite responsibilities.

The role leads the execution of security, fire alarm, life safety, and building automation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The candidate will oversee field teams, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with customers, and serve as the primary onsite contact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management, field supervision, or installation leadership experience.
• Experience with electronic security, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, life safety, and/or building automation systems.
• Strong experience leading technicians, installers, and subcontractors in the field.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and construction documents.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites.

Compensation of the Field Project Manager:

• Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000 (based on experience)
