Job summary

Lvi-Associates in Sterling, Virginia seeks a Project Manager to oversee field operations on large construction projects. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality across trades, coordinating with foremen, subcontractors, and owners’ representatives on active sites.

This role requires hands-on site presence, strong communication, and ability to manage BIM/coordination processes, with a focus on meeting milestones and maintaining client relations throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Experience working on data center construction projects.
• Exposure to projects worth upwards of $30m.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day field operations on assigned projects.
• Support and collaborate closely with trade foremen.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and coordination.
• Communicate and coordinate with the general contractor and owners’ representatives.
• Maintain and manage the project schedule to meet milestone and completion requirements.
• Forecast and manage on‑site labor needs in partnership with the trade foreman.
• Monitor and manage fabrication schedules as needed.
• Participate in and help manage the BIM/coordination process.
• Maintain professional communication with team members and clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams across various departments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend project meetings, including pull‑planning sessions.
• Be present on active job sites during construction activities and critical project phases.
• Provide effective problem‑solving support as issues arise.
