Job summary

BECI in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Manager or Project Engineer to lead building envelope projects in the local market. This role blends field work with technical analysis and client coordination.

You will troubleshoot envelope issues onsite, generate investigations reports, and assist with construction specifications. Training is provided for those with relevant construction or engineering backgrounds. Relocation and professional development benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering/construction management or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
• IIBEC credentials (RRC, RRO, RWC, or REWC), or EIT certificate a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with troubleshooting building envelope issues.
• Going onsite to construction sites to provide support and quality analysis.
• Producing reports based on investigations.
• Assisting with the preparation of construction specifications.
• Providing technical support to staff, as required.
• Attending trade shows, seminars and educational programs to keep abreast of industry trends and ensure continued professional development.
