Job summary

Airswift seeks a Project Manager to oversee on-site refinery projects in Deer Park, TX, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution. You will manage field activities from mobilization to closeout and coordinate with client engineers and project managers.

You will lead safety culture on-site, review P&IDs, PFDs, and drawings, assess risks to schedule and budget, and ensure adherence to codes and specifications.

Qualifications

• Site walkthroughs experience required.

Job description

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our client's services in an active refinery environment located in Deer Park, TX.

Responsibilities, amongst others:

• Maintain a strong on‑site field presence across active refinery and industrial project locations, serving as the primary technical authority responsible for safe, compliant, and efficient execution.
• Lead day‑to‑day field execution of engineering projects from mobilization through closeout, ensuring adherence to project plans, engineering specifications, safety requirements, and applicable codes.
• Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, identify technical or execution risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Interpret, review, and apply engineering drawings including PFDs, P&IDs, piping isometrics, and equipment drawings to support accurate field execution.
• Interface directly with customer representatives, including facility engineers, inspectors, and project managers, to resolve technical issues and maintain alignment.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in conducting site walkthroughs.
• Deep understanding of refinery safety requirements (OSHA, API), permit systems, JSAs, and compliance expectations, with the ability to actively lead safety culture on job sites.
• Refinery experience.
• Ability to diagnose plant issues and schedule/cost risks.
• Ability to read and approved P&IDs, PFDs and equipment drawings.
• Asset: Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical) and PMP Certification.
