Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to support underground wet utilities projects in the Greater Los Angeles area. The role involves hands-on field work, coordinating with the Project Manager, and ensuring successful delivery of projects up to the stated value.

A Civil Engineering or Construction Management background is preferred, with 2–4 years of field experience. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, managing RFIs and change orders, overseeing subcontractors, and

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of field experience with underground wet utilities.
• Familiarity with domestic water systems preferred.
• Knowledge of pipeline installation, waterworks, traffic control, shoring, trench restoration.
• Proficiency in project documentation, scheduling, change management, and cost tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and daily activities.
• Coordinate field operations including pipeline installation, shoring, traffic control, and trench restoration.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, permits, utility notifications, and daily reports.
• Oversee subcontractors, material orders, and time-and-materials tracking.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain safety standards and company procedures.
• Prepare project documentation and correspondence.
• Assist in maintaining client relationships and project profitability.
