Job summary

Cumming Group in Los Gatos, CA (onsite in the San Jose area) seeks a Project Engineer to support the Project Management Department with field administration, scheduling, and coordination. You will assist Sr PMs, review documentation, and help ensure work aligns with plans and budgets.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in PM/Engineering and 2–3 years of project construction experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to manage meetings, records, and subcontract administration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-3 years of project construction experience.
• Experience with design and bid formulation.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist top Project Manager on site with scheduling of design, bid, and project phases.
• Provide update/status reports on costs and schedules.
• Administer project sub-contracts and bid process.
• Facilitate site meetings and prepare minutes.
• Maintain accurate project records.
• Support QA/QC and review RFIs and submittals.
• Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management.
• Review changes and ensure conformance to standards.
