Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Field/Project Engineer for our Power/Industrial Construction division in the St. Louis, MO area.

The role focuses on field operations and project controls, with opportunities for advancement and relocation across projects, including large battery storage, power plants, and data center developments. The successful candidate will interpret drawings, plan work, ensure safety and quality, and support estimating and procurement on diverse EPC projects within our Industrial

Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree.
Ability to safely access construction sites across climates and environments.
Strong work ethic and initiative.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Field Operations: interpret drawings, prepare work plans, audit safety compliance, schedule material deliveries, track installation progress, perform quality inspections.
Office Engineering: maintain project controls, generate change orders, supervise subcontractors, support site logistics, coordinate design and procurement interface.
Estimating: review data, perform quantity takeoffs, assist with bid preparation.
