Job summary

Envirocon, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer with environmental remediation and civil construction experience to support the Project Manager and operations team in Kalamazoo, MI. This role includes project administration, QA/QC, safety, and data management on site and in the office.

Travel to project sites is required; you will prepare work plans, assist with cost tracking, and coordinate with subcontractors while upholding safety and ethics.

Qualifications

• Must operate independently and solve practical problems while informing stakeholders of issues.
• Strong time management, organization and attention to detail are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to ethics and integrity in all activities.
• Proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook; project scheduling software experience is a plus.
• Preferred knowledge: surveying, GPS, water/soil sampling, QA/QC, civil design, Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Interpret project drawings and prepare field and office deliverables.
• Perform quantity calculations and support work plans and packages.
• Assist with field surveying, layout and as-built data compilation.
• Oversee QA/QC and manage subcontractor work to ensure quality.
• Prepare project reports, RFIs, and maintain records and submittals.
