Monadnock Construction, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Superintendent and project team on Brooklyn-area construction sites in the United States.

The role focuses on coordinating subcontractors, monitoring quality and safety, and maintaining project documentation to keep milestones on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 1–3 years of field experience, and a commitment to professional

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years’ prior experience with a General Contractor, Engineering firm or similar role preferred.
• Experience coordinating and overseeing daily activities on a construction site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and overseeing daily activities on the construction site with subcontractor foremen and employees.
• Assist with scheduling and ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Maintain and update the delivery calendar and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Support quality control through inspections and punch list tracking until handover.
• Adhere to safety protocols and assist in on-site safety compliance.
• Maintain project documentation including logs, progress reports, and photos.
