Job summary

Traylor Industrial seeks a Project Engineer to support project leadership at on-site locations in the Atlanta area. You will coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to align objectives, schedules, permits, and costs, and work with superintendents to assemble steel, mechanical, and piping work packages.

You will review documents, manage RFIs and change orders, perform material takeoffs, and ensure site activities meet safety and quality standards while maintaining accurate field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in construction project environments and field coordination.
• Ability to relocate to the project area and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interact with client, engineers, and subcontractors to understand objectives, schedules, permits, and costs.
• Work with superintendents to define and communicate steel, mechanical, and piping work packages.
• Monitor discipline information, perform material takeoffs, procure materials, and resolve field questions.
• Generate field material requests and manage RFIs and change orders as necessary.
• Review drawings, specs, vendor documents, and maintain field records.
