Job summary

Pella Windows & Doors of the Carolinas and Southwest Virginia is seeking a Field Project Coordinator to manage installation field activities in the Charlotte area. The role involves coordinating field teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring installations meet company standards and customer expectations.

The successful candidate will work mostly on the road with some office time, reporting to the Installation Manager, and will collaborate with service crews to deliver quality outcomes while

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of windows and doors is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain highest standards of ethics and follow company policies.
  • Promote safety and accountability by following protocols and addressing risks.
  • Monitor daily workload via dashboard; conduct site check-ins to ensure efficient installations.
  • Serve as field contact for service team and installers; ensure third-party work meets specs.
  • Use laptop, iPad, and iPhone to report progress with photos to the Installation team.
  • Diagnose issues and propose the best repair path; explain actions to customers.
  • Perform hands-on service such as sash/glass replacement, hardware install, panel replacement, and adjustments to improve window/door operation.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
2 years of customer service (preferred)
Window and Door knowledge (preferred)

We are seeking a Field Project Coordinator in the Charlotte area of North Carolina!

Location:

Mostly on the road, some office time required.

Job Summary

An Installation Technician is responsible for all Pella installation and upkeep within two years of installation. An Installation Technician provides exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and consistently delivers on the value proposition in alignment with company strategy.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Always exhibit the highest standard of personal ethics and adhere to all Pella Carolina policies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability by adhering to established protocols, proactively identifying potential risks, and fostering a workplace environment where safety is a shared priority.
  • Responsible for viewing daily dashboard to maintain awareness of current and upcoming workload to perform site check-ins and ensure installations are operating efficiently.
  • Serves as field level point of contact for service team and Installerswhileensuring3 rd party crews work is being performed within company specifications.
  • Navigate and utilize various computer systems on laptop, iPad and iPhone to effectively communicate project progress via reports and photos to Installation team.
  • Perform diagnostics and determine appropriate path forward to repairing windows and doors while effectively communicating the proper course of action to customers and reassure them through the process.
  • Performs hands on service work to include sash/glass replacement, hardware installation, panel replacement, and corrections to improve operation of windows and doors.
Requirements
  • Must meet company driver qualification and insurability requirements and maintain acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Must be dependable, neat in appearance, a good listener, and personable with good communication skills for direct customer contact.
  • 2+ years of construction/maintenance, building material, or similar field experience
  • Takes a proactive approach to tasks and maintains ownership of assigned projects.
Education And Experience
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • 2years of successful Customer Service Preferred
  • Window and Door knowledge preferred
