Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Transportation is seeking a Utility Relocation Technician in Clearfield County. You will coordinate utility relocation efforts for roadway projects, working with designers, project managers, and utility partners to keep projects moving and compliant with standards.

This full-time role offers a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule, potential telework up to three days per week, and the opportunity to contribute to safer, better-connected roads across Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• One year as an Engineering Technician performing utility relocation work.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction on utility coordination needs for projects of varying complexity
• Maintain contact with utility companies and oversee progress to meet project milestones
• Travel to project locations to conduct field views and lead on site coordination meetings
• Examine relocation plans to ensure compliance with manuals and established standards
• Assist partners using the Utility Relocation Management System to move projects toward clearance
• Track progress, resolve disputes, and support scheduling needs
